Woojin (우진 ujin) was born on April 8, 1997 (age 27) in Daejeon, South Korea. He was the main vocalist of the group Stray Kids.

Predebut
Woojin's individual picture and name were officially revealed by JYP Entertainment on October 11, 2017 at noon, for his participation in the upcoming survival show Stray Kids.[1] He was introduced with the role "Vocal". On the final episode of the show on December 19, 2017, it was confirmed that Woojin would debut in the boy group Stray Kids.
2018-2019: Stray Kids
On March 25, 2018, Woojin debuted with the mini album I am NOT as the main vocalist of Stray Kids.
On October 27, 2019, JYP Entertainment announced his departure from the group and the agency due to personal circumstances.[2]
The group's fifth mini album Clé : LEVANTER was re-recorded without his vocals before its release on December 9, 2019. Previously released songs since debut have been re-recorded as well, and released as part of the compilation albums SKZ2020 and SKZ2021.
