Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl (Japanese ver.) is the first Japanese EP by South Korean boy group Stray Kids. It was released on September 6, 2023 with "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" serving as the title track.

Background

The album was announced on June 26, 2023. The title was revealed on July 27, as well as being a collaboration with Japanese singer LiSA.

"Super Bowl (Japanese ver.)" was digitally pre-released on August 10 and "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" was premiered on August 16 during the first concert of the 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023, then pre-released digitally on August 30.

Promotions for the single include decorations installed at Sunshine Sakae mall in Nagoya, a round of pop-up stores in collaboration with Spotify, and a public broadcast of the EP's music videos at Hisaya-odori Park in Nagoya, with special commentary from the members.

On September 23, Stray Kids appeared on a dedicated Venue101 spin off show, performing "Social Path" with LiSA herself.

Composition

“	The first Japanese EP album will feature the double title track "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" and "Super Bowl (Japanese ver.)". "Social Path (feat. LiSA)", a Japanese original song with a rock sound and powerful vocals, means "pioneering a path" and tells a true story of the group constantly writing new records. In particular, "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" is the group's first collaboration with famous Japanese artist LiSA, who has a number of hits including popular TV anime theme songs such as "Gurenge". The other title track, "Super Bowl (Japanese ver.)," is the Japanese version of "Super Bowl" from their third full-length album, "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" released in June, and features lyrics that convey passion and ambition, as well as colourful choruses. Both titles were written and composed by the group's production team 3RACHA's Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN, and the new album will feature a total of five songs, including the double title track, as well as new track "Butterflies" and the instrumental versions of "Social Path (feat. LiSA)" and "Butterflies".	”
