I.N (아이엔 aien) was born on February 8, 2001 (age 24) in Busan, South Korea. He is the maknae of the boy group Stray Kids, as well as a vocalist.[2]

Predebut
Yang Jeong-in auditioned for JYP Entertainment when they visited Busan, and he was accepted after the second try. He joined the company in 2016, making him the second member of the future lineup.[3]
He was officially revealed by the company on October 13, 2017 for his participation in the upcoming survival show Stray Kids[4] and introduced with the role "Vocal" on the show. On the final episode on December 19, it was confirmed that Jeong-in would debut with the boy group Stray Kids.
2018-present: Stray Kids
On March 26, 2018, Jeong-in debuted under the stage name "I.N" with the mini album I am NOT as the sub-vocalist and maknae of Stray Kids.[5]
On January 16, 2021, he released the song "Maknae On Top" featuring Bang Chan and Changbin as part of the SKZ-PLAYER series.
On December 21, 2022, I.N co-wrote and co-composed his solo song "Hug Me" for the best album SKZ-REPLAY.
On December 13, 2024, I.N participated in writing and composing his original solo song "HALLUCINATION" for Stray Kids' album HOP.
On April 12, 2025, his solo Spotify profile was created along with the OST "START!" by Lee Know, Seungmin and him.
Artistry
Vocals
I.N's role as a vocalist has been steadily improving. His vocal tone is quite unique sounding and has an old fashioned feeling to it, due to his background in trot singing, which fits bright songs and ballads. He sometimes sings high parts like in "Chronosaurus".
While his lines were few at debut, he got more of them as time passed by. He often gets pre-choruses and bridges.
Visuals
Due to being the maknae, I.N has a cute and bubbly image, and is also known to have a big bright smile. However, his resting face is sharped and features like his jaw and eyebrow bones are masculine. As he grew up into his looks and started working out, he has become more mature looking. Recently, I.N wants to showcase a sexier image of himself, as shown with his solo stage "HALLUCINATION".
