Heart Monster or Heart Tung (하퉁 hatung) is a character created for the release of Stray Kids' seventh mini album, MAXIDENT in 2022.

Design

Heart Monster takes the form of a giant pink heart with a pink antenna, gray feet, a golden necklace with a heart pendant, and a scar on the left cheek.

Background

Heart Monster was first featured in the comeback trailer for MAXIDENT, appearing as a foreign threat invading the city of New York with an army of colorful heart minions.

In the "CASE 143" music video, Heart Monster and his minions turn Stray Kids into lovestruck criminals, filling up their world with explosive love they cannot control. The story of the music video unravels with policemen Stray Kids trying to arrest both the heart monsters and lovestruck criminals Stray Kids, but the later ultimately win.

A lifesize Heart Monster appeared on stage with Stray Kids at M!Countdown on October 13, 2022 and at SBS Gayo Daejeon on December 24. Heart Monster, along another heart minion, was released as a keyring from November 7 to November 13, 2022.

  • The members aren't aware of this fanmade name and had funny reactions when told about it.
