Personal life

• Felix was born to Korean immigrant parents in Sydney and grew up in the Seven Hills suburb.
• At first, he hated his Korean name "Yongbok" which was given to him by his grandfather. It is an old-fashioned and uncommon name, so his mom cried for a month about it. But he grew to like it as the members kept calling him Yongbok over the years, and in recent times, he sometimes willingly goes by Yongbok instead of Felix.
• He wanted to become a singer because he likes music.
• If he wasn't in Stray Kids, he would be a songwriter.
• As a kid, he used to do a lot of cosplay.

• Religion : Catholic. He has mentioned God and prayers multiple times since debut. In 2016 when he was a teen, he did a performance at Sydney Korean Catholic Church Festival. In 2024, he was seen carrying a study Bible with him, and he changed his bubble status to verses of the Bible multiple times, including Luke 10:27, Romans 12:21 and Corinthians 13:4.

Health

• In February 2022, JYP Entertainment announced that Felix was diagnosed with disk herniation. To this day, Felix is still being careful with his back and does regular re-education exercises.
• In February 2025, JYP Entertainment announced that Felix was involved in a minor car accident and that an arm fracture was diagnosed through an X-ray examination. In a follow-up statement, they precised that the fracture had been mis-diagnosed from a childhood scar, and that Felix actually suffers from a pinched nerve. He is currently in recovery.
• In May, 2025, JYP Entertainment announced that Felix had recently been experiencing pain when putting strain on his back, so he was currently receiving additional treatment. It was also announced that he would still be on stage because of his unwavering desire and certain performance moves would change according to his condition.

Charity

• In November 2023, Felix participated in the "Love Your W" campaign by W Korea to raise awareness about breast cancer.
• Felix is an ambassador for UNICEF since 2024.
  • On January 4, 2024, he donated 100 million won to help children in Laos suffering from poor sanitation and nutrition, becoming the youngest UNICEF Honors Club member and first member of 2024.
  • Later on February 7, he travelled to Laos on his free time to do volunteering work with children, which was documented through the UNICEF series Login - Laos.
  • On September 15, he donated 50 million won to UNICEF and World Vision each, to help underprivileged children in Laos and Korea. He was then appointed as a member of World Vision's "Bob Pierce" donors club.
  • On September 23, he was appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the UNICEF Korea comitee.
  • In December 2024, as part of being an official ambassador, he appeared in the campaign for "UNICEF Team" alongside actress Kim Hye-soo, figure skater Kim Yuna and e-sports player Faker.
