Background[]
Clé 1 : MIROH was announced on March 6, 2019 with the trailer for the group's first anniversary.[1]
The album's teasers used the "UNVEIL : TRACK" series for the first time, which would become the standard format to reveal the tracks of new albums.
The album was released on the same day as the showcase UNVEIL THE MIROH in Seoul.
The group held its fifth mini fanmeeting after the pre-recording of "MIROH" on Show! Music Core on March 30, 2019.
Clé 1 : MIROH was promoted on music shows with the title track "MIROH" from March 28 to April 21, along the song "Victory Song" for four performances.
Composition[]
“ | After standing on the edge of adulthood, the boys finally take their first steps into the adult world. And quite boldly at that. The young boys, who were struggling with their own existence in the previous '"I am" series albums, head out of their own space (District 9) and into the jungle-like city of MIROH with "YOU", who was struggling with the same thing. Their steps are bold and their eyes are full of confidence. They know the harshness of the new world, but in the eyes of the ambitious boys who have just taken their first steps into society, hardships and adversity are insignificant. No matter what obstacles come their way, they feel like they can overcome them with "YOU", and eventually reach the top.
This album reveals the courage and challenge of nine boys who dive in fearlessly without worrying about failure, which can be said to be the privilege of those who live with hope. Their ability to move forward into any future, rather than remain stagnant in the present, will give courage to many modern people who are stuck in failure and frustration. |

Reviews[]
“ | Stray Kids produce and write their own music, but Clé 1: Miroh was their clearest musical vision yet as a multidimensional, genre-less group. The EP has honest songs about navigating life, like electro-hip-hop banger “Boxer,” the rap/rock hybrid of “Maze of Memories” and R&B throbber “19,” uplifting anthems in the EDM-inspired “Victory Song” and rousing title track, and some brilliant deeper meanings; “Chronosaurus” combines Chronos, the Greek god of time, and Kronosaurus, a humongous crocodile-like dinosaur, to represent time as a monster. — J.B. | ” |
